You know what bothers me? Nurses that wear clogs. Why? I'm sure it's not mandated because I've seen nurses that wear sneakers, and I think that would be more comfortable anyway. But what bothers me even more is those same nurses that wear those nurses clogs out on the town. No joke, I've seen it. And not just an "after work" kind of thing either. I knew a guy once, he always wore his nursing clogs. Polo shirt, shorts, and THE CLOGS. Man oh man did I feel embarrassed for that guy.

What is up with this? Frenchie was booted off American Idol? Because she once worked for an "adult-oriented" website? So what?? Isn't this a show based on peoples' singing? Does anybody really care what she did in the past? She was awesome too! As long as they can crank a hit song out of her, that should be good enough.

What is with America's fascination with marriage shows? You've got Joe Millionaire, The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Who Wants to Marry a Multi-Millionaire, and a new one, Married by America. And these shows don't exactly end well. Darva Conger anyone? I remember her, but for all the wrong reasons. And this Joe Millionaire? First of all, the guy is a total TOOL, and second of all, the whole basis of his relationship is a LIE. Is there some sort of sick fascination with watching a sacred tradition be defiled? No sir, I don't like it.

I read a story today about "cyberbegging," where people have websites that ask for monetary donations for some reason or another. Most of these sites are entertaining and fun to read so people throw a few bucks at them. Then I got to thinking, "Isn't this site entertaining and fun to read?" I think so. So that's why I've thought that if anyone want to send me some coin, you can send it through Paypal to mattymacd@hotmail.com. Thanks in advance!

Do I really think that'll work? No, but it can't hurt to try.

On a completely different note, you know how they say about Pringles "Once you pop, you can't stop"? It's totally true man, once I open up that container I can't stop eating them!!! Dang good tagline.

I'm so sick of hearing about Michael Jackson. He hasn't been on TV this much since 1991. It feels like I'm watching sleazy Entertainment Tonight 24/7. He's a freak--WE GET IT.

Are Tom & Jerry supposed to be friends or enemies? Because sometimes Tom chases Jerry, and sometimes they're pals. I don't get it. Where's the consistency of character??? I want Tom to chase Jerry. If they're pals, that's like Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner chillin' out in the desert together drinkin' brewskis--it just shouldn't happen.

Bon Jovi are such sissies these days, with all their rock ballads, and playing at the Super Bowl, and starring in their own Target ads. They’ve always been sort of on the weaker side of the rock spectrum, never as naughty as Poison, or as rockin’ as Metallica (circa 1987, not when they too descended into ballad territory), but where’s the songs like Wanted: Dead or Alive, or my all-time favorite Bon Jovi song Blaze of Glory? Maybe I’m being picky, I haven’t cared about Bon Jovi since 1987, but this bothers me. I hate when rock bands try to win over new fans by crossing over into “rock ballad” territory. It happens all too frequently these days my friends.
